Castle Owen’s building surveying team led the repair and refurbishment of this grade two listed building, including the reconstruction of a significant masonry boundary wall structure in proximity to a public highway.
The replacement of the original brickwork boundary wall required planning and listed building consents in addition to our performing the role of Party Wall Surveyors. The construction process associated with the replacement of the wall necessitated significant temporary works and traffic management measures. We worked closely with our trusted structural engineering partner in the development of temporary works solutions, considering buildability and health and safety.
